We are two sisters.

One of us built a career in hospitality, learning how the smallest details, a warm welcome, a soft fabric, a well-placed comfort, change how someone feels in an unfamiliar place. The other spent years in marketing, learning how to tell a story clearly and honestly, so it actually reaches people.

When cancer treatment brought our own family into hospitals for months at a time, we saw up close how much a waiting room, a scan suite, or a patient room can weigh on a person, and how much a small, thoughtful detail can lighten that weight.

The Waiting Pause began there. We combined what we know, hospitality and marketing, with what we lived, to bring a little more warmth to the places that need it most.
